| Magnetic poetry and a fun run in Ester This fun 5-kilometer footrace and poetry composition contest took place for the first time Sunday, October 12, 2008, despite a brisk breeze and a thick snowfall. The race started and ended at the new gazebo, looping through west Ester and the Tailings. Contestants were judged on times and literary compositions, with extra credit for costumes. Some t-shirts and sweatshirts from the first year are still available. | | |
