2009 Lallapalooza! We just finished our fith annual lallapalooza! Thank you, everyone, for coming to help us build our library. Read the story in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. Li-Berry Music Festival The third annual library music festival was held September 21, 2008 at the Blue Loon. Groups last year included Acousta-Moose, Arly-Jylz, Steve Brown & the Bailers, and Far North Fiddlehead Red. And we had that delicious pie-baking contest once again! Readers on the Run! Twenty people came to run for the library on October 12, 2008 in a footrace and poetry composition contest. So many people have come up to the librarians to ask when we'll do it again that we'll be making this an annual event! library meetings recent LIBRARY INCORPORATION meeting The gazebo is now a functional shelter! Benches and the windows and varnishing still need to be done, but it' s almost there! Thanks very much to everyone who helped or donated materials and cash for this. |  | ||||||
