2008 Lallapalooza!

The fourth annual John Trigg Ester Library Lallapalooza & Book Bash is scheduled for March 2nd, to be held at the Annex art gallery as before. We'll need your help: Donations for the auction, volunteers to help set up, organize, take down, and perform will be needed. Li-Berry Music Festival

The summer concert was held as before at the Malemute Saloon, August 26. This time our headline act was the award-winning Emily Kurn, an up-and-coming artist from Anchorage. Other artists included the Jay Stange/Adam Watson guitar duo, the Ba'Cuntry Bruthers All-Night dRagtime Revue, Sherri Hadley and the Barn Band, and Anna Stitt, guitarist and soundwoman!

And, there was a most delicious pie-baking contest! Molly was our emcee, and we raised almost $1,800! Thank you to everyone who came! And many thanks to Jay Stange, Jono Becker, and JT, for their help with pulling the event off spectacularly.
